It was a good hotel because the view was high. I don't know why it was 4 stars, but there were no restaurants nearby, so I ate at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious. It's a spa hotel, but I didn't have a spa. I wondered why it was called a spa.

Serviço péssimo! Não sei como dizem ser 5 estrelas, absurda essa classificação! Hotel distante de tudo, sem serviço de quarto ou um restaurante que sirva almoço. Jantar só com reserva. Tivemos que achar um bar, por conta própria, para comer sanduíche… Recepção fica vazia… tínhamos que ficar procurando alguém para nos atender… Não recomendo.

Hotel sem estrutura nenhuma. Por ser longe de qualquer tipo de serviços deveriam oferecer almoço, lanches ou serviço de transporte para cidade mais próxima para que a gente possa se alimentar. Tudo isso pode até ser cobrado, mas precisa do serviço. Não tem recepção para carregar as malas para os quartos. Geladeira vazia não colocam nada nem água. Muito fraco por ser 5 estrelas.

Desconcertante, muy buenas instalaciones en lugar aislado y sin señalización para llegar, nos perdimos y tuvimos que hacer dos llamadas telefónicas. Personal muy amable y poco entrenado. La caja fuerte no funcionaba y la tuvieron que cambiar. Baños modernos sin percheros para las toallas. La descripción no coincide con lo que encontramos. Pensábamos estar très noches y nos quedamos sólo una.

O hotel não está ao nível de um 5 estrelas !! O hotel em si é um pouco frio em todas as zonas , no qual reparei com hóspedes e funcionários a terem que andar com casacos . A zona do spa está muitas vezes com falta de funcionários , para levantarmos as nossas toalhas, depois de aguardar algum tempo ligamos para a receção , no qual disseram que podíamos ir busca-las ao armário . O espaço da piscina interior tem espreguiçadeiras para 4 casais , e o jacuzzi cobram 50 euros por 30 min . O restaurante , funcionária muito simpática , mas sozinha para fazer a sala , no qual em determinada altura teve dificuldades para prestar o serviço ( coitada só tem 2 braços não podia fazer milagres ) , o preço é um pouco caro para qualidade da comida , pedi um prato que nem veio os ingredientes todos , o vinho do hotel não é mau mas também não é excecional e um preço algo elevado . O pequeno almoço é razoável , e lá estava novamente a funcionária sozinha mas sempre prestável e de sorriso na cara . Há zonas do hotel que nota-se falta de manutenção , o chão dos corredores às alcatifas manchadas com lixívia e no nosso quarto as cortinas completamente cheias de mofo , isto não pode acontecer num hotel de 1 estrela quanto mais de 5 !! Única nota positiva é a simpatia dos funcionários e música ao vivo ao jantar e depois na zona do bar .

Ficamos hospedados durante 3 noites e se pudéssemos teríamos ficado mais tempo!! A primeira de muitas sem sombra de dúvidas, um hotel perfeito para quem procura sossego e tranquilidade. Hotel limpo e cuidado, Staff maravilhoso e comida incrível. À chegada fomos recebidos de forma tão especial com um welcome drink de vinho do porto e água tónica no bar pela querida dores e como prestam imensa atenção aos detalhes deixaram-nos uma rosa na cama à chegada tendo em conta que era o nosso aniversário. O pequeno almoço é preparado com imenso carinho, tem um pouco de tudo e ainda nos fizeram todas as manhãs ovos mexidos, ao jantar é um ambiente bem tranquilo e a comida é deliciosa. A zona do spa é fantástica piscina interior, serviço de massagens e a banheira de hidromassagens um local perfeito para descansar. Escolhemos a tipologia deluxe com vista para as vinhas e era simplesmente um encanto acordar com paisagem que nos deparávamos. Há sempre estacionamento disponível seja em frente ao hotel ou na parte de trás, o que é muito importante para quem aluga carro, inclusive é grátis. Estar neste maravilhoso hotel é como estar " em casa" pois é assim que os ilustres proprietários Paula & Tony não e restante staff o fazem sentir. Uma equipa que nos recebe sempre de sorriso aberto, digno de 5*.

Ok but far from a 5 star hotel
Friendly staff but clearly understaffed and untrained.
Comfortable room however you would expect some amenities on a 5 star hotel such as robes/slippers, tea/coffee, dental kit… also there was 1 complimentary water bottle however not a new/fresh bottle.
I would like to strongly suggest for a bar/wine menu improvement (it’s Douro wine region!). Also the restaurant menu should have more options and frankly better quality for the prices.
Breakfast was ok but again…not a 5 star (no fresh juices or fresh fruit…).
The hotel has several things to improve even some rebuilt to do (I’ve noticed an unfinished wall coming back from the parking lot via stairs as there was no elevator).
Not much to do outside the hotel. Spa and gym ok.
Overall it’s ok but far from 5 stars.
